So de la Renta was launched in 1997 as a Floral Fruity fragrance for women, created by Ilias Ermenidis for Oscar De La Renta. The fragrance opens with top notes of Freesia, Gardenia, Watermelon, Mango, Kiwi, Clementine and Cardamom ; the middle notes consist of Lotus, Tuberose, Narcissus, Peony and Jasmine Sambac; the base notes are made up of Musk, Plum and Vanilla. The fragrance is a soft, under-stated floral with a gentle, tender touch. It's clean, it's fresh, and a little soapy, but very pretty with a creaminess to the floral and fruit notes. It's a uniquely charming softer fragrance and ideal for the hotter months of the year.
